31. Inviting Someone to Your House: Story
Dominic is a skunk. (1) He wants to invite some friends (2) to come to his home for a party. It’s summer. (3)

Dominic invites Jasmine to his barbecue party. (4) He tells her it will start (5) at 6:00 in the evening.

Jasmine asks what she can bring. (6) Dominic asks her to bring a dessert.

Dominic invites four other friends to come over. He asks them to bring something to eat. (7) He’ll provide the meat. (8)

Everyone comes to his home on the weekend. They visit with each other. (9) Dominic starts the grill (10) and puts on some steaks and some hot dogs.
Jasmine has a beautiful cake (11) for desert. Dominic’s other friends have brought snacks. They have a good dinner.

After eating, the group plays fun party games. (12) They also break (13) a piñata.

Dominic thinks the party was a success. (14) He’s going to call Jasmine and invite her to go out with him on a date. (15)

He really likes her and thinks she likes him too! She’s a smart (16) skunk and very attractive!

Dominic has a special girl he wants to impress. (5) Dominic invites Jasmine to his barbecue party. (6) He tells her it will start (7) at 6:00.

 Jasmine asks him what she can bring. (8) Dominic asks her (9) to bring a dessert. He knows (10) she likes to make cakes. (11)

Dominic invites four other friends to come to dinner. He asks each one of them to bring something to eat. (12) Dominic will furnish the meat. (13)

On the weekend everyone (14) comes to Dominic’s house. They visit with each other. (15)

He grills (16) some steaks and some hot dogs. Jasmine helps him. (17)

Jasmine has a beautiful cake for dessert. Dominic’s other friends have brought (18) some delicious snacks, too. They are going to have (19) a super barbecue!

Dominic’s friend Pedro brought a piñata that he made. (24) Everyone has a good time breaking it. (25)
